This Enfocus PitStop command allows us to reposition previously selected items. If nothing has been selected, the command will affect all objects within range. There are two configurable options:

"Align": This option allows us to choose the criteria for the redistribution of objects in relation to each other.

There are 14 possibilities arranged in three groups:

Imagen.

  • "Align": The selected objects are aligned using the selected value as axis.

  • "Distribute": The command takes the space to be used (indicated by the "Align to" option) and distributes the selected objects equally using the selected value as the distribution axis.

  • "Distribute spacing": In this option, the command takes the spacing to be used (indicated by the "Align to" option) and distributes the objects by equally distributing the spaces between them according to the selected axis (vertical or horizontal).

"Distribute horizontal spacing" and "Distribute horizontal center" have the same result. The same holds true for "Distribute vertical spacing" and "Distribute vertical center".

"Align to": This option marks the environment the distribution should be run against to.

The alternatives are the five page boxes plus the so-called "Selection bounding Box", which is the space occupied vertically and horizontally by the sum of the selected objects (the outer limits of the selection).

In this image we can see the result of aligning to the "Selection bounding box" (red) and the "ArtBox" (gren).
